A quiet day with a walk along the village had us transported to a local restoration club,
where a traditional Faroes boat had been built and sailed.
They had been to the Shetlands and Iceland in it with a crew of three.
They had no cooking and ate dried whale, meat and blubber in the traditional way. 
 
He said that they had done 17 knots, which in yacht terms is extremely fast.
