By coincidence, the AIDAblu cruise ship, H’s most recent workplace, was also in port and we invited the Kapitain, Peter Schade over to Graptolite for breakfast. Peter is also a yachtie. When we sailed out of Dubrovnik, we had a ship’s horn salute from AIDAblu. According to H this is an unprecedented honour. A highlight of this trip.

Arriving in the island of Korkula as the light was fading, we loaded up our jerrycans with diesel and found a small bay to anchor in for the night. The walled town of Korcula looked very pretty but exploring it will have to be another time.
