After a fairly gentle sail for a bit over 400 miles, we arrived in the
Maldives at first light.
Male, the capital, looks to be a cluster of pastel coloured high rise
buildings squeezed on to a tiny island. I wondered aloud why the Dutch chose
that particular island for the capital out of the hundreds they had a choice
of. Colin said probably as it's near the airport. It's been a long trip with
just two on watch.
