There is no wind at all now apart from some tiny flurries that makes the
wind direction indicator wander around lazily. The night sky is very clear
and we have the unusual effect of stars being reflected on the glassy
surface of the sea. I don't expect I will ever get to travel between the
stars but this has got to be a similar effect. On the other hand...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe; attack ships on fire off the
shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tan Hauser
Gate. All those....moments....will be lost....in time....like tears....in
the rain....time to die.

I'll bet that last paragraph confused you, unless you recognized some lines
by Rutger Hauer, from the movie 'Blade Runner'. It has no particular
significance. But I like it.
