Checked in with the port authorities and was issued with a Mediterranean
mooring on Pontoon 10. Checked in to the ARC office and got a pile of
papers.
While eating lunch with Lori in the Sailor's Bar Ian and Liz arrived making
up the complete crew for the Atlantic crossing. That was Wednesday. We've
had a couple of Happy Hours since then and the race safety inspection and
also finished installing the wind/water generator.
I gather there are something like a thousand people living in the marina
waiting for the off. There are a good number of parties to survive over the
next week so there may be some gaps in this blog which are outside of the
authors control.
