Just prior to our return home on Sunday 22nd we were anchored near Nidri on Lefkas and witnessed quite a serious "forest" fire. The attached photos show the ash cloud and the fire fighting aircraft, both fixed wing and helos. In all it took 3 days to put the fire out.

We had a very smooth flight back on Sunday and arrived home in Woodbridge at @ 2000. On route we popped in to see our grand daughter Imogen (photo: Gillian & Imogen). We are now on standby for the birth of our new grandson, due this friday!

Back to Greece on the 12 Sept - more then.
