The checkout went really well with a very helpful Gendarme. When it was completed he asked if I needed to collect my bond. Naturally I do but I was then informed that the branch of the bank I have to see was closed until tomorrow. There is no holiday, they just don't want to open today so I have to wait for the morning before I can leave. Either that or forfeit more than I can afford. Dohhhhhh.
I may move moorings for the night. I've heard of a cool place called bloody marys where you can moor for free as long as you eat there. Think that sounds like the go.
In a way it suits me as I like to have some time alone just to check things and of course double check. Officially I'm in limbo as I have checked out of French Polynesia but the Gendarme didn't care how long I stayed. No problem, it's all very casual.
Here's me being positive about it but Its still a letdown after all the preparation. Hopefully tomorrow for sure. Got to get the miles ticking over again.
