Farr Gone Blog

Unfortunately Farrgone's computer got a little too wet and died on 11th
April so have been unable to make blog entries. Once across the Equator,
there has been good brisk breeze of 18-20 kts and sailing has been good.
Even did a 200 mile day. It has been physically quite testing.
Reached Taiohae, Nuka Hiva in the Marquesas in the early hours of 15th
April. There are a few repairs to be done. Lost my drinking water into the
bilge because of a leak, which is now fixed, so collecting rainwater from
the deck is a priority now, as the local water is contaminated by goats.
There are a few sail repairs to be made also.
Will stay as long as needed here, and then plan to make for Tahiti.
Hope to be able at least to report positions once I get going even if I
cannot post a blog.
May be able to replace the computer in Tahiti. I do miss it.
