Hi everyone,
A little surprise last night as the geni required to be bleed, an unknown
fuel depletion, possibly from healing over on a port tack, no problem at all,
sorted in a jiffy. An amazing day sailing. 15 knots steady on the quarter, the
big pink kite up all day. No fish caught today, cooking the last of the dorado
and some beef chilli for dinner. We have had a extra passenger on board for the
day catching a lift to the Cape Verdes, a beautiful big white egret bird, who
has a liking for dorado. Its 27 degrees here now, were well and truly in the
tropics.
The current dice champion on board is Simon. We also have a mystery late
night muncher depleting our dry stores! Around 1700 litres of diesel left and
full to the brim with beautiful crystal clear home made water. Everyone’s
looking forward to land fall tomorrow as the cabin fever is starting to set in a
little... shore leave!
