Well I was awoken at the end of my watch last night by concerned underlings who claimed to hear me snoring. I of course informed them that my snoring was a practical joke. Woke up this morning at 9 due to a heavy banging on my Master and Commander master suite door. I put on my primark finest dressing gown and asked what the emergency could be. I had looked out of the master suite window to ascertain we were arriving somewhere. Have I not brought you to the island of Canary? I asked of Mr K and Dave bleary eyed at the helm. Yes guru of the seas... This is gran canaria as requested but there's a lot of it ... Which bit would you like ? It did occur to me that the pilot book was back in London ... The Arc handbook... Back in London. We had come so far and disaster was looming ... My cred would be shot if we pulled into the wrong marina . I bluffed it. It's las palmas marina of course I snapped and went back to bed. An hour later I arose to take command as we pulled into the correct marina. The odds were low but my guardian spirit smiled. Having arrived Dundee launched himself into the local high street. Returned with 2 kegs of Heineken. It shortly all went black ... When I awoke on deck 3 hours later the underlings were sprawled everywhere. Dundee was still going strong. Jeez skip it's all gone .. Shall I go and get some more ?
The quest for a Chinese restaurant begins.
