Illustrious skipper here. It all went blank when at 11.00 local on sunday we arrived at an island where as we parked they plied us with loads of rum and rum punch and a banana . As the day progressed it all went rather hazy. I came too yesterday and it seems we are in st loosha
First impressions very beautiful. Second impressions: very expensive. Wallet bruising. This makes harrods food hall look like aldi. Motleys spend time comatosing on the remains of the beer and we heading for grenadines on Thursday to see if the booze is any cheaper before returning to loosha on Saturday The blog will continue Thursday to pronounce on grenadines etc. seems we've just crossed the Atlantic and lived to tell the tale. Boats still staggering in.. Some still 500 to 1000 miles away. Seems we just missed a major storm coming in ... I put it down to first class skippering. The motleys say it was luck. Probably simply ignorance. My head is clearing so about to commence chapter 2 on the history of the earls of Essex....seems my latest offering was launched whilst at sea... I think the publishers, Amberley, felt my absence was better than my presence
....not good 😳
