Tue. Another big passage through the notorious Raz de Sein, round Point de
Penmarsh and into Benodet at 9pm. For the final three hours had a wonderful,
engine off, sailing session on back deck listening to Cat Stevens. Anchored in a
small bay for the night.
Wed. Early start for an easy 32 mile passage to Port Tudy on Ile de Groix.
Sunny and hot, no wind. Stopped for a swim, 19 degrees, before entering port.
Very busy, no marina berths, so had to join an enormous raft of boats in the
outer harbour. Had to inflate the dinghy to get the bikes ashore and then did an
explore of the southern end of the island. Josh found a great cave at “Trou
d’Enfer”, which curved right through the cliffs and came out again over a sheer
drop into a rocky bay.
