Very pleasant 13 mile hop across the bay to the river Vistula, then four miles up the river through the industrial areas right into the heart of old Gdansk. Lovely small marina just across from the famous 14th century Crane Tower, used for lifting masts and cargo in the Hanseatic Port days, powered by human treadmill wheels around 16 feet in diameter.

Tim’s last night, so out for a lovely farewell meal. A few beers and wine, but far too tired for serious partying.
