We timed our run to Klaipeda, the only port in Lithuania, to perfection.  Whilst we spent the day in HEL exploring and doing some engine maintenance, waiting for the waves to subside, other boats that we subsequently met in Klaipeda went as soon as the wind eased and were “sick the whole way”!

 

The Lithuanians are lovely, really helpful and we managed to communicate in a mixture of English, German, Polish and sign language.  Off out for a traditional Lithuanian meal tonight and then an early off tomorrow for Latvia.
