Goodbye to the old crew, Simon, Simon, Simon and Louise, off to get the
train to Hamburg. Long 75 mile passage east with Saturday night at anchor
after an abortive attempt to get into DARSER ORT a small harbour with a silted
up entrance. Off again at 5am in brilliant sunshine and into the German Bodden,
a series of shallow linked lagoons. Well worth zooming in on Google maps
to see this geography.
Tied up in Stralsund, another lovely Hanseatic port at 10.30. Sunday, so
all shops closed, and we are out of milk! Nice snack lunch from one of the
moored fishing boats.
Waiting for the lifting bridge at 17.20 and planning to anchor further into
the Bodden. |
