Wind Charger

We very reluctantly left our happy place nestled between the Pitons and chugged sullenly up the coast to Rodney Bay, the wind was right on our nose, we didn’t really care and just motored along obliviously.  We chuntered into Rodney Bay Marina and parked tidily in slot C18.  I was immediately despatched to top up on the beers and water while Bob bustled about doing the just docked things that a chap has to do.  After a quiet lunch, Bob went off to do the rubbish run, Customs and Immigration, the Marina Office, booked the taxi to the airport while I set to with the “just got back” spring clean, a sweaty endeavour.  We are both very niggardly at the thought of leaving this warn, sun drenched paradise to return to reality and snow.  To cheer ourselves up we jumped into the dinghy, crossed the lagoon and went to The Edge which turned out to be a superb choice.  The food was meldingly delicious, combined and served in very different ways: duck breasts balanced on the top of an upturned glass containing deliciously dressed crispy salad.  It sounds mad but was marvellous.
Tomorrow’s blog would coincide with our take off time from Hennaworra so I guess it means over and out for now.
