It was nice to meet Patricia as we strolled Les Trois Islets and very nice to be complimented on my lovely smile and blue eyes.  Apart from the fact that Patricia was definitely a tad high on the old spectrum it was most pleasing to receive a confidence boost after a somewhat difficult day.
The restaurant turned out to be fantastically French all beautifully presented and absolutely delicieux.  The amuse bouche arrived with mosquito repellent on the side which was just as well because the mossies were evidently as greedy as us.  Funnily enough the very same people who had dined opposite us in St Anne came and sat opposite us again. Quel coincidence or perhaps they were similarly good at sniffing out decent restaurants.
We battened down the hatches to repel all boarders and slept well after a good bottle of Alsace rising horribly early to return to Rodney Bay to catch Customs before they shut up shop. We started off in brilliant sunshine and fizzed along at 6 and a half knots.  I put on sunscreen.  (Bob didn’t and is now looking rather red in the face).  But all good things must come to an end and as we eyed up St Lucia in the distance the rain clouds shimmied up and we had to dive for the wet weather gear again.
Our docking was serene with not one incomprehensible yell or yelp to jangle the nerves.  The gagging order evidently worked!  Our battening down the hatches was obviously not as a efficient as we seemed to have brought along a frog with us from Martinique which Bob rescued from the kitchen sink.  (No don’t be daft, a REAL frog).
We’re off to Houston tomorrow to see Duncan, Dolley, Alex and Avery and will be back in a week.  We then intend to head south and visit old haunts such as St Vincent and Mustique where hopefully it won’t be raining.
