Having spent 747 days adventure sailing round the world, at 1539 UTC today Thursday 13th October I crossed my outbound westward track that I had sailed South Westerly on, almost two years - 695 days ago, on November 17th 2009. I crossed at position 25:15.220N 018:19.708W.

I have so far sailed over 36,000 miles on this incredible journey ............... and it's not over.

The long slow slog to the Canaries continues and my ETA at Las Palmas, Gran Canaria is Saturday pm. Still a lot to do before then but not before a wee dram of a very fine 18 year old Macallan ..........

Slainte a'mhor!
