So the SE hit us like promised at around 8pm last night. It all happened so quickly. Sailing along in a NW in about 15 knots then WHAM 25 knots from S.E. It was like we popped out the SPCZ straight into the trades winds. Its great to be sailing again and QM is handling the wind/seas really well.

We are cruising along nicely at 8 knots in 20-25 knots and 2-3 m swell..Hopefully if we keep this up we should arrive in Bundaberg Wed avro.

Not much happening on the fish front, We so far have hooked 2 huge Mahi -Mahi but both have taken off with the lures so no fish for us :-( Mike and Jez have just been soaked by a rouge wave and I am sitting nice and dry under our new capote..haa haaaa

Looks like the winds will be building over the next few days but fingers crossed the seas won't be too fiesty and we catch a fish..
