We are back to the pace of life we know and enjoy again. We have had a few really nice nights in the anchorage on the west coast of Moorea - near where the good surf has been.

The boys have been having an amazing time surfing, the waves gradually increased in size and even Renato started talking about how they were a bit big! The boys did so well - clean lefts and barrels were had- and the water that came out of their noses could have filled one of the water tanks. Stine and I enjoyed lots of snorkeling and days out at the pass marvelling at the crazy waves. We all got out yesterday (our last day there) and I even managed to get one of the smaller waves - I shook like a leaf on my paddle back to the dinghy after that!

Nick and I also managed to squeeze in some surfing behind the dinghy as well as some lovely paddleboard exploring. The weather was so settled and calm you could see everything underneath you as you paddle around.

Renato bumped into one of his childhood friends from Brazil in the surf - such a crazy coincidence. They spent quite a bit of time catching up which gave us some time to have Stine all to oursleves.

We left Moorea yesterday afternoon and had a good sail overnight. We just arrived this morning and after a nightmare anchoring a kind couple from another boat came and guided us onto a sunken mooring.

Gin and tonics are being poured and cold beers being cheers'd and we are heading for the burger bar as a treat tonight.
