Ooooh we are getting closer!! We are making good progress today just on the headsail, making some south-ing after a bit of a north-y night. We has the pole up and a wind shift meant we were off course a little but it was tricky to change the pole in the dark with the seas so we waited till morning, Today has been good though and we feel like we are making good time in the right direction. Still at least a couple of days to go. Hoping to get there before dark on friday but will see how we go.
The first of the boats in our group have made it in which is exciting, the other 2 will get there tomorrow and we will bring up the rear.

Not too much excitement on board today, we caught a fish this morning. Looked a bit like a Jack. We had delicious fish and chips with Jack and used up the last of the potatoes. After all the cake discussions Nick had a bit of cake faliure (he doesnt want to talk about it ;) ) so I made some cookies with the last egg today.

To keep us occupied today we decided to have a lure making competition. We now currently have two rag tag bits of bright pink straggles on each of the lines off the boat. We have high hopes.
