It was amazing to finally be reunited with the boat! We arrived late at night and with SO many bags of gear for all the jobs we had planned.
We worked had on the boat for 2 weeks on land. We painted, sanded, cleaned, fixed and spruced up wherever possible. By the time we got the boat back in the water we were feeling really happy with how she was looking.
Once back in the water in anchored up and waited for the arrival of Matt – my friend from my windsurfing days in Greece. Matt is basically like my 16year old brother (despite being well into his 30’s…) so I knew we were going to have our hands full haha 
We were able to do some good exploring with him (while we waited anxiously for our new fridge – sent by Mark (my brother in law) – total legend!!) We witnessed Nick get bitten by an iguana – hilarious as well as making lots of new friends in the yard. We feel super excited about seeing them all along the way.
Onto Colombia!!
