Wow life is good!!!

So we are in the world of white sandy beaches, palm trees, crystal clear turquoise water, amazing snorkeling and black tip reef sharks. We spent the day yesterday with Sun of Moondance windsurfing and surfing behind their dinghy. This was followed by drinks on the beach with the other boat - another kiwi boat - then burgers onboard SOM. Tough life!

We moved around from the main town at Makemo the day before yesterday and had planned to make good head way on the way down here however the light wasnt great as it was pretty cloudy and we couldnt easily spot the many bommies of coral that are around, so we decided to call it a day and anchored up near the shore. Yesterday we managed to make the 4hours down the atol much more safely as the light was that much better and we even caught a good size fish.

So we are now nursing some hangovers, Nick is still asleep after many rums last night. We have been having lots of laughs hanging out with Sun of Moondance. Lots of activies planned for today. Snorkeling, exploring, windsurfing, surfing behind the boat etc etc and we will need to fit in some good naps and relaxing time so we better get this show on the road.
