Woo hoo!! We are finally sailing along in what we think is the trades- finally!!!! We are both feeling all the better for it!

We picked up the wind from the south about 9pm last night and have been making a steady 5-6knts since then - what a relief! We are just over 200nm to Santa Cruz.

Due to cross the equator soon - preparations are underway. Champagne is in the fridge and we are trying to figure out the correct protocols - something about dressing up as King Neptune......

No more fish to report - one on the line today but off it swam. We are very much enjoying our Moby Dick audio book - and have found ourselves speaking in thus a frightfully British olde English accent to match. Henceforth Nick has taken his leave to rest his weary head haha

All is well on board, just very happy to be on our way again.
