Now this is nice sailing! We have a strong current in our favour and are making good ground. I think its been our best day in terms of conditions so far. Nice wind and not too big seas. We even have a bit of following seas for a change! Long may it last!

Its been a semi productive day today with the conditions being a bit more relaxed. The 'Sold the Farm bread bake off' has come to an end. I am happy to say that despite his best efforts and continued perseverance Nicks sour dough loaf is a solid brick of in-edible-ness - although he is persevering through the eating of it as well. Thankfully my easy bake bread recipe has helped see me to victory! We are even on loaf no. 2 of that as it went down so well yesterday.

We are getting closer to the half way mark. Not long now. We have a good celebration planned with toad in the hole and brownies. Nick has even got me a present which I am excited about opening. Life is feeling pretty normal and we are into our routine now. Sometimes we catch ourselves - whilst drying the dishes, or doing other some mundane task - realising that we are in the middle of the Pacific ocean in our little home. All seems totally normal now haha :)

Here is our daily routine if you are interested in what we are getting up to:

- 0700 - 0800 hrs Nick wakes me up - he normally lets me sleep in a bit because (in his own words) 'you can be a bit like an angry bear when you are tired' haha
- I take over watch and let Nick catch up on sleep. I log on to download emails or read my book/ cruising guides to where we are headed. I have breakfast of cereal etc
- Nick normally wakes up about 1000 and we normally have a smoothie, put on an audio book. I get into some painting or cooking. This has involved bread the last few days.
- about 1200 we have lunch - today potato wedges with cheese, onion and bacon with a salad.
- 1400 Nap time for me - Nick does small jobs/reads one of his 5+ books that he has on the go at any one time.
- 1600 nap swap after a cup of tea and some biscuits
- Nick to sleep and I normally write emails etc or do some admin and start thinking about dinner.
- 1800 ish dinner time as the sun is setting
- after we tidy up and do daily boat checks we set up the lap top for a movie/series
- about 2100 I get an hour nap in before I go on watch.
- 2300 I go on watch till 0300
- watch for me involves an hour or so of an awesome survival game I have on my tablet, podcasts and an audio book.
- I wake Nick up and 0300 when he gets a coffee ready and starts his go till 0700 ish when we wakes up the bear.

We always have one of us responsble of rthe boat and where she is heading and what the sails are doing, at night we always wear life jackets and clip in - we do this during the day if it is rolly/windy too. Its been a bit cooler in the nights so we quite often hudle up under a blanket.

So there you have it - the daily grind! Hopefully that can give you some kind of a picture of what we are doing, its amazing how the days just blur really.
