COG: 270, Speed 4.5knts, wind approx 5knts east, seas less lumpy. Engine on. Society islands time 1.28pm

So we are back to bobbing around on ocean blue again. The wind eased through the night so we didnt make much progress. We have had the engine on most of today to help us a long. There have been a few squalls with lots of rain, but thankfully so far they havent been lasting too long.

News of the day is that we caught a nice size skip jack tuna last night, just as the sun was setting. Probably about 15pounds. I have made some space in the freezer so that should keep us going for a while. The colours of its skin were beautiful as we pulled it on board. Nice to see that it had a stomach full of fish and squid, but a bit sad to see it was a female very close to spawning.

Otherwise not much has been happening, we are getting our naps in and books are being read.
