1945 10th December - 12:13N:41:49W - A bit of fatigue setting in today. The wind came early; the movement is still a bit random, which is enervating; it is very hot and humid down below but we have to keep the hatches closed because we are taking the odd wave now. I tend to be fully occupied during my Mother watch days because there is rather a lot to do when it comes on top of every sail change, route decision and maintenance job! I am definitely looking forward to my berth this evening….

But we are all well. Making excellent progress at around 8 knots on course for our destination. Alex S is on watch; Ben and Tash are already asleep in their bunks; Alex H is waiting for me to send this and download the latest weather charts. Better get on with it and go to bed.
