We left St. Mary's harbour at 9am today in the midst of sunshine on a SW wind. After reaching the open sea, a small storm passed us by. But shortly thereafter the sun came out again.

The afternoon was spent sunbathing on the deck (a first on this leg), while the autopilot maneuvered us towards the coast of Cornwall.

Towards the coast, the wind increased again, but the coastline shielded us from the waves which resulted in some of the best sailing so far.

We reached Falmouth at 5.30, and managed to squeeze in a quick tour of the town centre, while waiting for dinner (spare ribs) to finish (2h @100 degrees).
