After 2 days holed up in Dover owing to fresh winds on the nose, the sail to Eastbourne looked promising with a Northerly Force 3-5 forecast. A great start soon turned to yet another day of motor sailing as the wind died, but at least the sun appeared as I passed Hastings, sailing solo on the stage.
