Lossiemouth in the wind and rain

With Eurofighters flying noisily overhead, rising wind and sea state, mixed with driving rain, the harbour is uncomfortable, with Gemini straining at her lines.
Pubs here do not serve food - how they survive is a miracle.
Today’s forecast is horrendous, with the next 2 days being marginally better, but not sailable. With Clare just arriving from a holiday in Corfu, this will be a Scottish shock to the system.
Reflections on my sail further west, north west and north east suggest that I was very lucky, even with a few midges to contend with.
I plan to make Arbroath for 26th. Fingers crossed for improved weather.
