Ramsgate was an historically interesting port, with lots to see. Sadly I bade farewell to my co-owner, Simon, who had to get back to London, but Ian Purkis remained with me as great company for the sail/motorsail to Dover.

Farewell to Simon

This evening was spent in the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club, with impressive historical links and great hospitality.

As for tomorrow the weather looks bad for further sailing as the winds increase measurably. Dover is not a natural place to spend time, when further west beckons, but prudence may mean sitting still for a day or two.
