Just a couple of days here to pick up last minute
groceries, propane, water etc so having done that and with a good forecast we're
gonna get off. Lanzarote looks just the same as other Canarian islands i've
visited...barren and lunar! black sand and volcanic stone etc but the little
marina here at Puerto Calero is a lovely oasis with very clean facilities and
everything we need.
Going to move to the fuel berth now for a last
minute top up, we're all showered, the sun is rising into a clear blue sky so
the sun blocs coming out!
Time now, 08.20 Thursday 22nd Nov. Looking at the
wind trends in the Atlantic over the last few weeks the trades have been light,
10-15knts rather than the 25-30knts last time i crossed.
I'm waffling again! gotta go....will post updates
here during the crossing, we're not planning to stop at Cape Verde now so next
stop Barbados, 3-4 weeks?
