Just a quick update, we're still here anchored off
Dakar!!! I've noticed that there's not so many ships calling here at the
moment?? The main activity is transhipment of fish from Russian trawlers to
small reefer vessels who seem to transport it around the African
coast.
We're keeping busy, there's so much to do and there
will never be enough time to complete everything. Still on water rationing
sealed all the toilets as they use fresh water and now we have to fetch sea
water to flush them. At least the boys have plenty of fresh fish, it's the only
thing that is abundant though. Now run out of mineral water, soft drinks and
chocolate bars! Oh dear, and we can't drown our sorrows as no alcohol is
allowed. What an exciting life we lead....
