Today is the day of reckoning for "Laura".
We moved down from Bhavnagar to Alang yesterday lunchtime. There was
a problem with the winch (windlass) when we anchored and ended up
with all the anchor cable out! The schedule was to beach on the
afternoon tide yesterday but permission was received too late and we
could not go on the early morning tide today because the money needs
to be paid. So all going well we should beach this afternoon.
In the distance I can see Tasman Start, the sister vessel to Laura
that I brought here last month. Its a lot clearer visibility this
time so I hope I can get some good photos and movie clips.
