SU:36-33N 000-37W
Greetings from Mediterranean. We are just passing Mostaganem in
Algeria on our way to Port Said. After such a lovely crossing of
Biscay we once again encountered bad weather most of the way to
Straits of Gibraltar.
Transiting the Straits it was very clear and we managed to have the
current with us and made 22 knots for a while.
Just held an emergency drill, and I hope nothing serious happens.
To add some light relief I had a bit of a job to coax a bird out of
the wheelhouse that flew in during the exercise. Unfortunately it did
not know the difference between a closed window and an open door, but
we got there in the end and he managed to escape even if with a
headache after banging into the glass windows a few times.
