Still at Gopnath swinging around on the pick as they say.
Another couple of vessels have arrived here so now there's 5 of us
waiting and who knows how many going through the inspections etc. up
at Bhavnagar. There's also 2 vessels waiting to beach at Alang, last
chance is tomorrow morning otherwise next suitable tide is 25th!
So it looks like 25th/ 26th for us. Now having to be extra careful
with our provisions and water. Fuel is very low and just hope there's
enough to last until the beaching! It's always difficult to know how
much fuel is useable as we can never get 100% out of the tanks.
Been very windy today and with the strong tidal currents doesn't
really make this area such a safe haven. Yet it's surprising to see
the locals pottering about in old ships lifeboats in all these
conditions.
