We completed our 2nd inspection yesterday and have been waiting for
the final nod. Well this evening I received a phone call from our
agent here at Ghavnagar who told me that it was 99.9% sure the
vessel would beach tomorrow 28th on the afternoon tide. That is
around 4 p.m. Just have to wait for a call from the Beaching Master
at Alang telling us to shift, that should be early in the morning.
At least the crew will be happy as it is no fun hanging around
waiting to go and there's nothing to do, they've seen all the movies,
several times over and we're running out of food as weell, not to
mention fuel! We have enough useable fuel for about 5 more days for
the generator and some for the main engine to get down to Alang.
Right down to the wire this time!
