Here we are again back at berth 42 in Dakar
port.
We had to spend a 6 hrs at anchor waiting to come
alongside.
There was a great many fishing boats outside, one
even partially blocking the entrance to the port. We were told that they were
fishing for sardines. If we have to spend time waiting again outside we will
soon find out!! There are some avid fishing fans onboard, and of course besides
the pleasure of fresh caught fish we are helping keep our costs
down!!
Another HH vessel was anchored outside, M/V Stina,
but ironically received orders on our approach and as we went to anchor next to
her, she left!!!
Everything appears to be in slow motion at the
moment, cargo is going very very slowly.
At least it is warm and
dry.
