Nothing broke!!!!!
Viridian

We have arrived!!
After 28 days and 4000 nm we are now anchored in Baie de Traiteurs in Hiva Oa. Although at times the journey has seemed interminable, its actually been a relatively quick passage in spite of the light winds we have experienced at times.
I’m very proud of Jan, who has provided us all with amazing food throughout the passage in spite of the rolling and banging around down below.
Also very proud of Ed, for whom this has been his first long passage and has been a massive help taking on all his tasks with enthusiasm and good humour.
Amazingly, in spite of the stresses of the three of us being confined to a 50ft boat for 4 weeks, we are all still talking to one another.
Finally I would like to give a massive shout out for Viridian, which has kept us all safe and stood up to the rigours of the ocean with aplomb.
Amazingly in spite of the distance we have travelled absolutely nothing on Viridian has broken, and those of you who know boats will understand that this is quite a remarkable feat.
This will be my last post for a while, we are now going to spend a few weeks exploring the Marquesas before we move on 500 nm to the Tuamotos and Tahiti and the Society Islands.
