In the meantime, we have spent the day pumping up the dinghy and exploring how to winch it and the engine into the water.
We took it for a little spin to check that the engine was working (little bit of WD40 required to get the throttle responding properly).
Hector put some laundry on before he accompanied Ho up to a supermarket, where they bought some provisions for further journeying.
Even if there’s no alternator, the weather is opening up enough for us to leave and we will take that opportunity.
