Modern tiki at Taiohae bay

This is the fish tiki on the site of the chief’s house

Most of the island population of about 3000 live around Taiohae bay. 

On horseback, to Anaho bay, access only by these tracks and by boat. Our guide Nui and his dog, best described as a Golom lookalike, very thin, pale pink skin beneath thin white hairs, and big pink eyes and ears.
