Dear Family and Friends,

Well a difficult day, with the winds getting lighter we have tried sailing further south as suggested by the forecasts, we have managed but 109 miles. We have motored since yesterday evening, with the engine dying at 11amUTC today. Alan has got it going again for the moment but we are now on our last fine filter, reports suggest that we are in a becalmed area of 2-300 miles and no possibility of making enough progress under sail and we suspect we also have problems with the turbo on our engine. What we could do with right now is some good winds to carry us to Antigua, it is very frustrating.

Other than that we are fine the weather is warm and we have mostly clear skies consistent with light winds. We are somewhat concerned again about the timing of our expected landfall.

All our best,
Lynne, Alan and James
