Dear Family and Friends,

 

With light winds we are struggling to keep up our progress and the forecast looks like being more of the same for the next day or so. We have turned the motor on again but have yet another clogged filter. Although we have a number of filters at a rate of 2 per day we will not have enough from here until Antigua. We are not sure how the fuel became so contaminated as to block filters within hours but it is a major problem if we are to make the 28th December flight.

 

We are hoping to speak to some friends about 120 miles ahead of us to see whether we can meet up with them as they have offered their bug killer chemicals for us to use.

 

Otherwise the day has been full of chores, and warm and cloudy.
