Arrived in Scarborough after a very
pleasant week with Robyn and Liz in Melbourne. It was a hectic week with
quite a bit of partying, Anne and Doug in Melbourne and Troy in Shelter Bay.
Managed to spend loads of money at the boat show and as usual forgot to buy
anything on my list. There is always the temptation of a party or two around
boat shows which although enjoyable can tend to be expensive.
Never did get a ride in the Lamborghini but at
least got to see it this time. Troy has THE best list of toys on the
planet.
The days in Scarborough were spent getting the new
solar panels wired up with the new super efficient regulator (Both destined for
the farm in Thailand), cleaning the boat, trial fitting the new sails, which
didn't fit, then trial fitting them again. Finally left on Friday the 27th but
of course as it was a Friday we aren't allowed to say we had started the
journey, bad luck apparently, so we started an interim journey to Bundaberg.
Very little wind and motored 50% of the way.
