The first photo is of a reef that runs alongside to
main road, it is live coral and is populated with tropical fish, the blue fish
in the picture is a parrot fish that is edible. Proof that the ecology
initiatives are working. The people accept that the fish and the reefs have a
more important role than the short term gain in selling the coral
and tropical fish or catching shallow water coral fish to eat.
 Noi feed the fish with tomato's!! I am not sure if
this is ecologically correct but the fish loved it. It is not clear in the photo
but you can just see the reef below the fish. This is directly under the boat at
the town mooring.
