Arrived in Noumea the 22nd at about 14:00. We are
in a marina and as usual doing some repairs. Jib is torn and needs a patch
up or three to get us to Oz and then in the bin with it. The hydraulic ram
on the backstay is leaking and needs a service, batteries need to be equalised,
washing etc etc. We are hoping to leave the 26th early morning as the weather
reports are finally showing some South Easterly wind. Next port is Bundaberg
Australia. A good place to leave the boat and I believe is the home of Bundaberg
rum which can't be a bad thing, other than that though I don't think there is a
lot to see or do in Bundy.
