Day 4 FH

The alternator fans belts broke on the way here again so decided I couldn‘t put it off any longer. Thought I would start early and get done by 10:00 and then go for a hike to the waterfall.

Pulled all the toolboxes out of the engine room and lifted the floor boards. The bilge was full of gunk so turned on the bilge pump. The fan belt must have knocked the bilge pump hose off when it broke. Another thing to fix and it is at the bottom of the bilge in probably one of the most inaccessible places on any boat ever built since the beginning of boat building.

A very long, hot, horrible, smelly, dirty day. Got everything running again about 16:00
Finished it off with a spin in the dinghy out to a couple of other bays and a V&T and another total trouncing at backgammon, perfect end to the day!. Noi has now started photographing the really bad games and wants me to put them on the blog, she will be shark bait before that ever happens.
