Left Puerto Castillo in highwinds. A charming
holiday resort but very empty - signs of the recession. Fought our way
through Gale Force 8 and gusting 9!!!! Which kept knocking us over from the
mountains on the south east side of Fuerteventura! Finally made it in to a
harbour at very southern point. Saw two turtles and some flying fish - surprised
they didn't get swept onto the boat in the storm! Pity! No fish for
dinner!
