According to Graham our trusty colleague, the Amok has burned up all their Sailmail time.  Therefore, I am assuming the role of Sunny Jim (Laura’s older smarter brother), the Canadian reporter detailing the high seas hijinks of our windless crew.  Current status as of 11:30 UTC this morning –

temp 27c 100% cloud cover / heading 081 at 7kt.

They will not be sending or receiving e-mail as they have run out of Sailmail time until further notice.  Since I am a landlocked working man who can’t possibly take the time off to sail a boat across the southern half of the world (J), I will try and regale you with tales of my work in remote towns in Northern Alberta.  Ha,ha, good one. 

Alas, I can spell spinnaker but that’s about the extent of my sailing knowledge.  However in the coming days, I will make stuff up so that it sounds interesting and I’m sure they will rejoin us when they can.  I will post updates on position and speed when I get them from Graham.  Ahoy and best wishes (who actually uses the word ahoy?)
