Hello lubbers,
We had a great Christmas Day onboard, of course the oven played silly games, and didn't work, which meant our roast duck had to become a braised duck at short notice. Nevertheless, it was fantastic (a pink day, in case you were wondering, which meant the girls were in the galley and the boys acted like lounge lizards) and a lovely meal was had by all. Did you know you can make stuffing in a pressure cooker? I know, it's truly amazing the little snippets of information I can send to you from the southern ocean. I used the tins from the beans and they came out looking like two little brains in a can. he he. get the white coat and the size B buckles...
Mash n beans advised us that he caught a fish earlier, but decided to let it go; the real version of the story is that it was the one that got away. Needless to say, it was massive, but then, the ones that get away always are.
Short and sweet today friends, hope you had a peaceful day yesterday.
love and best wishes and all the very best,
Salty sal and her wonderful crew x
